My Mk5 has a button I have to push a few seconds for adjusting the wheel rotation control. If the rotation is not feasible (e.g. by low pressure) it will give alarm.

It's for MK6 but should work with MK5 aswell.

EDIT: Just noticed that the thread i posted is for disabling TMPS completly.
I don't think that it's possible to disable only the lamps and messages.

Yes, the car can be coded to disable TPMS completely. The first thing the OP needs to tell us is if he has direct or indirect TPMS.

Direct TPMS, I believe is address #65. Indirect TPMS (using the wheel speed sensors is in the ABS module #3. These are both short coding options (excluding unticking the TPMS option in Gateway #19).

The OP should provide his car's complete coding for us to assist.
