Then i'll try to explain this to you 1) Connect your device with your car 2) Run a scan(optional) 3) Click on little blue icon to get a list of all ECUs 4) Select the ECU with the number 52 5) Select Long coding 6) Move to Byte 04 7) Activate Bit 2 and Bit 3 That's it if you have any further questions feel free to ask.

For comfort opening of windows/sunroof:
1) Select ECU 46 2) Coding 3) Byte 2 4) Activate Bit 2
After that check your mmi for settings.

I think it's because you coded something wrong. Undo all changes you made to the ECU that isn't working anymore.

I will but to be honest all I did before talking to you that was installing apps from obdeleven and I did not install much , that's crazy cause I will have to pay now to undo them and do them again :-(

You can undo the changes manually without using the apps.

You can undo the changes manually without using the apps. For a newbie it s a bit hard , I didn't even managed to make them work so I'm scared of damaging the unit or getting errors I can't fix.

I read that memory mirrors are required, for this feature to work well. By checking live data from the Passenger Door (52), you can verify if you have memory mirrors (something about 250% vs. variable settings).
I do not have power or electric seats, but apparently it should still work.

Not sure how or why, but my mirror now dips when the vehicle is in reverse, returning to the original position thereafter.
I didn't use the app as I didn't think it would work for me. Don't know what adaptation I have activated that would enable the dip, certainly nothing visible via MMI.
Any ideas?

I have recently enabled the mirror dip function. My car does not have the memory seat function. I suspect it could depend upon which door control modules are fitted, and possibly the type of mirrors (I had recently fitted power folding mirrors).
Once the OBD one-click app for Mirror dip is activated, follow this:
1) Switch ignition on
2) Engage reverse gear
3) Adjust the passenger side mirror to the desired curb view position
4) Engage neutral gear
5) Switch ignition off
6) Place mirror adjustment control dial to any setting other than the passenger side
Whenever reverse gear is selected, and curb view is required, Place the mirror adjustment dial to select the passenger side mirror, and the mirror will dip to position previously set in line 3 above. For the mirror to return to normal position, turn the mirror adjustment dial away from the passenger mirror selection.
I think some people have assumed the mirror dip function only requires the car to be in reverse, this is not the case, the passenger side mirror must be selected using the mirror adjustment dial.
