Hello!
I´ve unlocked mirror dip with the app.
When I put it in reverse and the button in the position r the mirror goes down, but only for a bit.
I have a friend that have a Leon whith that feature from factorie and in is the mirror goes down until you see the side walk and mine does not.
I would like to know if there is anything that can be done to fix this.
Thanks

Looks like you don't have electrical seats. You need a memory(which is included in electrical seats) to store the mirror positions if you don't have that the mirror will only go down a little bit. The only fix is getting that memory which means buying electrical seats if i'm not wrong. Ask your friend if he has that memory

He doesnt have eletrical seats.
In my case the mirror memorizes.
The problem is that it only goes down for a bit, and goes up for a bit to
So if i adjust the mirror as i want (put the mirror in a position that i can see the side walk) when i start driving he will go up just for a bit, and then i have to adjuste again.

The Mk3 Octavia needs the electric seats with memory to get the mirror dip working correctly. The Leon doesn’t so is irrelevant as a comparison.

Thanks for the reply my friend.
Well I think the problem is not the memory, because if I put the mirror in the position where I want it memorizes that position!
The problem is that the mirror only goes down a bit, and if i put it down as i want, when I start to drive the mirror it only rises a little too, having to adjust it.
I´ve unlock it in a audi a4 avant from 2014 and its the same situation as mine.
I would like to know if there is any kind of coding to make the mirror go down more.
Thanks

There is no additional coding. As has been posted twice now, you need the memory for it to function properly.

Found this on the VWVortex.com site. I have a 2017 FL estate without heated seats. Tried and better tried to get the mirror dip to work, following advice from anyone who had a potential solution. This link will tell you if you have the required hardware to make the mirror dip properly. When I checked mine showed exactly as in the link - hardware not installed. forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?8450146-OBDeleven-coding-master-list-thread/page2The bottom line is you need the Mirror Memory Module installed! If you are using the App to change the settings you will be wasting credits. If you have the Pro version you can find out without credits. If you don't have the Pro version it will cost you 5 credits to find out. Should help clarify the situation for a lot of people.
