Hello!
I activated the alarm and I searched in the infoteinmant that there is no option to activate or deactivate the alarm.
I wonder if it's possible.
Thank you

What do you mean by activated the alarm, normally if the alarm goes off you just need to unlock the car and then it stops.
Or do you mean the alarm is going off and you cant turn it off.
On my car under control unit 09 long coding, I have this for alarm
Byte 12 Bit 0 - Anti theft system-system installed/active Bit 1 - Anti theft system rear window/glass monitoring Bit 2 - 3 no description Bit 4 - Anti theft system alarm horn/sounder Bit 5 - Anti theft system inclination sensor Bit 6 - Start anti theft alarm delay with mechanical door opening Bit 7 - Anti theft system interior monitoring
and under Adaptations again look for DWA (Diebstahlwarnanlage = Car Alarm) or Alarm.
Hope this helps.

Hey men thanks for the reply!
I mean...
I activated the alarm in a golf 2009 from a friend, and it appeared an option in the fis, to be able to disable or activate the alarm.
He can select whether or not to activate the alarm through this option that appears in the fis.
I did activate the alarm in my octavia but it doesnt show any option that i can turn on or off.

That makes sense, have you tried Menuesteuerung akustische Rueckmeldung: under control unit 09
If no just search for Menuesteuerung (menu control) or just menu.

I used this coding
0- Control Unit 09 1- Coding 2- Byte 12 3- Activate Bit 0 4- Push V to validate
- Control Unit 09 Adaptation - Antitheft Protection - DWA ALarmverzoegerung -> change to -> Driver door contact thatcham - DWA Camper Modus -> change to -> Activated - Ueberwachung Innenentriegelungshelbel -> change to -> Activated - Akustischer Alarm Signalhorn -> change to -> Activated - Diebstahlwarnanlage -> change to -> Activated - Submenu - Answer Signals (called "Acknowledgement Signals") - Akustische Rueckmeldung global (Change value to "enabled") - Akustische Rueckmeldung Signalhorn (Change value to "activated")
The alarm is working fine, i did activated in a leon from a friend and he doesnt have any option as well, when you go to opening and close on the infotainment it should appear there like in this video, as it appear the accoustic confirmantion (i ve unloncked as well)...
I didnt tried anything because i´m afraid to do something wrong...
Thanks for the help....

In byte 12 i only have byte 0 active.
Byte 12 Bit 0 - Anti theft system-system installed/active Bit 1 - Anti theft system rear window/glass monitoring Bit 2 - 3 no description Bit 4 - Anti theft system alarm horn/sounder Bit 5 - Anti theft system inclination sensor Bit 6 - Start anti theft alarm delay with mechanical door opening Bit 7 - Anti theft system interior monitoring
You have byte 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 also active?

on my car I used this coding then you will get Beep / alarm when locking and unlocking the car With this mod you may have to close, open or in both cases with horn beep occurs. 1 - Module 09 - Electronic. Code (31347) 2 - Adaptation 3 - Signs response 4 - Sub - Akustische rueckmeldung entriegeln --- On 5 - Sub - Akustische rueckmeldung verriegeln --- On 6 - Sub - Global rueckmeldung --- On Akustische 7 - Sub - Akustische rueckmeldung Signalhorn --- On 8 - Sub - Menuesteuerung Akustische rueckmeldung --- On (On Screen Display) This is the line that puts the on off button on your car entertainment.9 - Sub - Dauer der vom akustischen rueckmeldung einfachhorn --- Normal (No alarm) or Kurz (with alarm)
What i will say on the Leon you have to go to Car and Settings and do a Factory Reset to make the beep work.

My friend i have that already...
My question was if there is any way to put a option in the infotainment, that makes possible to put the alarm on or off like the "Beep / alarm when locking and unlocking the car" (that i´ve unlock and have the option in the infotainment to put it on or off)
In the golf from 2010 from my friend when i activated it gained the option in the fis to put it on or off.
I didnt understand what did you mean about this...
On my car under control unit 09 long coding, I have this for alarm
Byte 12 Bit 0 - Anti theft system-system installed/active Bit 1 - Anti theft system rear window/glass monitoring Bit 2 - 3 no description Bit 4 - Anti theft system alarm horn/sounder Bit 5 - Anti theft system inclination sensor Bit 6 - Start anti theft alarm delay with mechanical door opening Bit 7 - Anti theft system interior monitoring
In mine i only have byte 0 active, it is supposed to activate the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7?

OK being a bit slow, no I don't have alarm on / off on my car either, all i have seen is coding to turn off the internal sensors but nothing on the FIS to give you an on off function.
What I was showing you were the labels on my long coding, I presume if you change Bit 0 to not installed then it turns off the alarm. but again no fis screen that I have seen.

ok thanks for the answer.
yes sure if I disable byte 0 the alarm is off.
but is it supposed to activate the others bytes that you mentioned (1,2,3,4,5,6,7), or is it only need to have byte 0 active to get the alarm working correctly?
Thanks again...

The setup is such that different cars (because of the hardware they come with) support different things.
So for example I have an alarm which also has a function that if you jack the car up with doors locked the alarm goes off (bit 5)
So check your long coding and the descriptions are the same as mine and then look for the coding on the web.
Or you can (at your own risk) try turning these on and off and see what happens.

My friend the coding that i used, i posted it here.
I now that anything i do is at my own risk.
could you clarify me some things please?
I thought that activating the alarm whith the coding and byte 0, i would have the alarm running completely, It seems that it is not quite what I realized.
Byte 12 Bit 0 - Anti theft system-system installed/active (this one is for turning on the alarm, the only byte i have activated)
Bit 1 - Anti theft system rear window/glass monitoring (this one is in the event of a broken glass the alarm goes off?)
Bit 2 - 3 no description (no description have no ideia what its for...)
Bit 4 - Anti theft system alarm horn/sounder (I have the horn when the alarm goes off, I tested by closing the car, and waited 30 seconds, then i open the door and the car blinks and horn, but dont have this one activated)
Bit 5 - Anti theft system inclination sensor (this I think be, if if the car is towed the alarm goes off? for example)
Bit 6 - Start anti theft alarm delay with mechanical door opening (i have no ideia)
Bit 7 - Anti theft system interior monitoring (i have no ideia)
So basically from what I realized you said is that not having the other bytes active, doesnt have the others active alarm functions is that correct?
Thanks for the pacience my friend...
