Is it possible to have them switch on as soon as the door is unlocked and they start to unfold, rather than after they have completely unfolder? And stay on till they are folded when you lock?
And if so how?

Can you also point me in the direction of a thread or post that explains how to change bits and bytes?
Many posts refer to this when explaining various adaptions, but all assume an understanding of how to do it!

Well as advised I "moved my thumb"!
Went through all 6 pages of threads here without finding it.
Used the search function, and found.... my own post. Nothing else.
And as per my post above, alltrack's instructions above, while doubtless well-meant, do not fully explain the process.
Can anyone advise?

Finally found time to get the car somewhere close enough to wifi (my wifi doesn't reach the drive!) and gave this a go. I appreciate the guidance, but got stuck halfway. Got to the screen showing 'inside door handle light' with your arrow pointing to 01. So am I supposed to click "inside door handle light" That gives me the option to de-activate so I don't think so. So what's with the arrow? Am I supposed to change that '01'? To what? "07"? If so, why does the next screen still show '01'?  ? |

If you click this 01 with that arrow pointing then screen will change for Byte, bits!!!!! hahaha  ok newer mind, just change "turn_off_front_field_light_with_folded_mirrir" from active to NOT ACTIVE. That should make same mod.

If that's all that's needed then what's with all the bits and bytes instructions? OK I'll give it a go next time I'm parked next to wifi....But seriously - why does the obdeleven, and/or the website, not come with clear instructions......?Will report back later.... |
