Hey! I was wondering if it's possible to change the radio accent colors since it could be done previously .... I mean it's all blue, and it bugs me off I'd prefer an all red or all yellow theme... anyone tried anything yet ?

Have you tired the Ambient Lighting App? You have an option of 10 or 30 colors. At least for my NA 2018 R, I could only change the center console and dashboard colors- the doors/sills remain blue regardless of other coding efforts.

I don’t know what the app does, Have you checked the long coding of the door strips? Otherwise they are one colour LED’s and not multicoloured so wouldn’t be able to change them

I was going to say it’s in the facelift mods thread, much discussed about, I dunno about the 30 colours, from what I saw it looked as tho most of the colours were duplicated and very crunched up

Did this allow you to change the colors of your door and sill LEDs? I could not get mine to change- only the dash and center console.

gfl: This is not possible, there are no Multicolor-LEDs in the Ambient Lightning in the Golfs. So they are entirely static with the following colors afair: Highline and GTD are white, R and GTE are blue, GTIs are red only

I could not get mine to change- only the dash and center console. someone already answered you; and I have a ComfortLine LED Package (best bang for bucks imho) I have everything I want except the shiny gadgets like LED doors, floor lightning, etc.. |
