Hi all
I just Got my new golf. I have already used my obdeleven for the apps Such as sweeping needle and ambient lighting etc.
But now i want to see it its possible to add the 2 i mentioned in the topic. I can see there’s an app for traffic sign recognition but can I use it on this new golf 7.5 my2019?
Also what would I need to do to add the park assist to my car?
Basically I have a car with almost all features. AID, lane assist, traffic jam assist, full led package etc.
But I didn’t get the park assist. And couldn’t get the traffic sign recognition with out buying the navigation package which i didn’t. That’s the reason for asking here. I hope you guys can help.
Thanks

Which makes sense: TSR is fusioning nav-data with recognized signs. You could code the camera to read signs and to show them on the hud, but you will see that some signs are not registered and not displayed (like squared signs for start and end of towns f.e.). Plus you will get an error every time you start your car, where TSR is complaining about restricted functions, as there is no data incoming from the nav.
Parking assistance: You will have to install sensors, wires and another upgraded parking assistance control module (there is a module for back only, front and back and parallel parking), which should be properly parametrized to your car (not possible with obd11). Plus the one or two switches next to the gear-lever. Plus you need some coding in ABS and AID.

Thanks for replying back. Sucks that there's this much work to get those changes to this car but well i may have to go to a car shop where they retrofit stuff then to get the needed equipment
