Hello all,
I have a question about the blind spot assist. When will the led actualy start to blink?
Because i never saw it blinking... When i pass other cars from other brands i see them blink but mine doesnt.
Any ideas? Its a stock installation

On mine they only blink when a car is overtaking you (outside and inside) when their in between the mirror and rear wing
Do they turn on when you switch the ignition on as like a self check?

Blinking should start only when there's a chance to actually crash (setting indicator in the direction of the other car or turning the steerig wheel towards it)

You have to be going at least 9mph and they have to be overtaking you from the rear in your blind spot. The radar sensors are in rear corners of the car. It also measures the speed difference between vehicles and only lights up if it is a certain difference.
Other manufacturers systems light up constantly. VW's is more refined and only lights up in critical situations. Like if a car is in your blind spot and you either try to turn into that lane or turn on your signal and the car is in your blind spot.
It shuts off on curves.
It is all in the manual.
