INFORMATION CONTROL UNIT 1 Dashboard_Display_Configuration navigation_map_transmission_mode -> MOST_Streaming navigation_map_compression_mode -> H264 navigation_map_Resolution -> resolution_1 The above worked on my new A5 with the 7inch DIS and standard MMI. I had to reboot the MMI afterwards. Some posts claim Google maps stopped working but it all seems ok to me! I dont seem to have the option for information control unit. Do you know if it is located somewhere else or under a different name? Thanks Hi All, I used the above coding on my A4 b9 and the map showed up for about 1 second and then disappeared. Is there some sort of sw. check that changed my display back to non active maps? Anyone have a suggestion. thanks OK I figured it out, it's under the multimedia control unit. |

I solved this in my Audi A4 B9. You should go to Dashboard settings and select Navigation/Compass YES (default No).

Hey guys, I followed strictly the description in the thread, but it didn't work for me (the car is a 2017 Audi A4 avant ). I saw in one of the posts that the maps are toggled with the menu buttons on the left of the steering wheel, but I have no such buttons. I would appreciate some help. Thanks in advance!  |

2018 V8 facelift S3 sedan
Connect obdeleven to car (ignition on, don't start engine)
1) go to garage (obdeleven), tap on your
audi;
2) tap on Control Units;
3) tap on Information control unit 1 (5F)
4) tap on Adaptation;
5) scrol down and find Dashboard_
Display_Configuration and tap on it;
6) navigation_map_transmissoin_mode -
tap and change to MOST_streaming;
7) navigation_map_compression_mode -
tap and change to H264;
8) navigation_map_ resolution - tap and
change to resolution_1;
9) confirm adaptation and restart MMI.
No Google maps. On main dashboard the screen is now black.
Anyone got a fix for a 2018 8V S3

Hi i did all coding. And i have the steering wheel with the VIEW button. But i still dont see the option of navigation. Is there any option to set?
