Has anyone figure out a way to display OBD11 through android auto?? A couple of guys have been running torque lite via an obd bluetooth dongle through the new version of android auto and I would love to have my OBD11 shown on the main infotainment screen.
Is this something the app developers can do??

Not 100% sure as I don’t use AA but I recall seeing a video with obdeleven running on the multimedia screen via mirror link, dunno how they did it but I think you need to have a rooted phone

But mirror link does NOT show all apps, for full mirror link you need to be rooted or download unstable apps,

You can clone the screen and see OBDeleven with AA Mirror github.com/slashmax/AAMirror or AA Stream github.com/endyrubbin/AAStream
The method of unlocking unknown sources in the developer options of Android Auto stop working at least 1 year ago, only modified version of Spotify and some similar music app can be used with this old method.

So you didn’t read the OP, it was asked if obdeleven could be displayed on AA

Hi Wgolf,
Thank you for the response! I am not sure my galaxy s10e will run mirror at all, every time I plug it in it says no apps detected. is there an app you open to get mirror link to run and screen share?
Thank you!
