Hi!I've got a 2017 vw golf 7 facelift and MIB2 composition media,but in the menu I can't see the app connect function,although in the head unit's system information I can see app connect 4101.438.1.2.

My dealer said if there is no app connect function in the menu,you can't activate it with the code from vw.I told him about the data in the system information,but he didn't understand,why there is no function in the menu then.

Is it possible to activate the app connect function in the menu somehow with obd eleven?

No, it's no possible activation by obdelen. I have same problem. Only one official way to have a app connect in car is in autorised worksop retrofit the original accesories navigation set. In Czech it cost around 1400€. After that you will have the original satnav and app (if i'll have app, original satnav is useless and 1400€ for app it little bit expensive fome). Another unofficial way is buing and mounting andriod plug and play multimedia box.
