I have a US, 2017 Golf. When I first ODBEleven device there was no app for Windows function from remote.
I was able to set it up using instructions online. Everything work fine for about 7 or eight months. Then my panoramic sunroof would not open using the one touch feature. OBDEleven reported the the sunroof lost it's basic programing, or something similar.
Next the front passenger's window would not open using the one touch, you had to hold the button down for the window to open. I had a scheduled maintenance at the dealer, and he replace the passenger's window switch. I also disabled the remote window function, and re-enabled it with the app.
Few months later, I had the same issue with the panoramic sunroof. I found a tutorial on how to reset the sunroof.
I am again having problems with the front passenger's window not going down with the one touch feature. I enabled the convenience opening in the infotainment center, and then re-enabled it. That fixed the problem, until I tried to open the windows from the driver's handle. The driver's window, the two rear windows and the sunroof open with one touch fine.
OBDEleven is reporting:
Door Electronics Passenger Side Motor for Window Regulator Implausible Signal Fault Code: B148729
The fault code is the same before the windows switch was replaced.
Is this a software issue or a hardware issue? Something is causing the window and the sunroof to stop opening with one touch.

Thanks. Yea I can reset the window and sunroof with opening & holding for 5 seconds, and closing and holding for 5 seconds.
My question is why is the window and sunroof loosing programing? It seems to stop functioning after I try you open the windows using the remote/door handle.
Is this common? Or did I screw something up with this mod?
Thanks for your reply.

Ok thanks wgolfmk7,
It help knowing someone else has lost coding.
Maybe someone else can shed some light as to why.
I was worried that maybe I did something wrong or I had a defective piece of hardware.
