I've got a NAR Golf R, 2016. As such, it's MIB2. It also has the Fender system.
With this in mind, can I use the "Discover startup logo" or "multimedia theme" applications? If so, I'm interested in the coding via adaptation so as to spare my credits in the app. I want the R startup logo and the carbon theme on the main display. I've already set the carbon theme on the dashboard.
I'm always confused about Discover Pro vs Fender and MIB2 vs MIB2HIGH.

Fender is the speaker system, now it’s dynaudio, Discover pro is the system (this has all the toys on it) discover is another one (without hard drive and less features) Never heard of MIB2HIGH but MIB is like the model number
module 5F, 20103 long coding, byte 18 set to 0-10 they change the boot up logo, reboot the unit every single time (press and hold the on/off for 10 seconds
0 welcome to Volkswagen 1 twin drive 2 gtd 3 gti (this actually changes all the blue lines to red) 4 bluemotion 5 egolf 6 R 7 R 8 alltrack 9 gte 10 elegance

Thanks guys! I'm still confused about what "Discover/Pro" means in conjunction with MIB. I guess what I'm asking is: if my system is MIB2 and Fender...is it considered Discover (or Discover Pro)? Or is that only in reference to Dynaudio-based systems?
Follow-up question: if it is considered Discover or Discover Pro, does that mean I can successfully apply any apps or adaptation coding changes that are labeled as such? Or do I need to avoid those, and only use that which is labeled "Fender" or "MIB2"?
Appreciate the education!

In English the MIB stands for modular infotainment platform, that’s from Volkswagen official bumf and the 1 2 2.5/3 are just the versions, I think MIB1 finished in 2014 and MIB 2.5/3 came out with the mk7.5 and runs alongside the MIB2 You have five different media players
Composition - basic Composition media - bigger screen and a few more features Discover media - add navigation Discover pro - all singing all dancing Discover pro 9.2 - same as above with a 9.2 screen (also called the MIB 2.5/3)
again fender is is just the speaker system (which I think was only available in the beetle in the UK) dynaudio is a different speaker system

So, does that mean my car is running mib2 with Discover media pro, since it has Nav? It's the 6" screen. And do I need to stay away from any coding or apps labeled "composition" or "Discover" if I'm running Discover Pro?

Tbh with you I dont use apps as I find it better just to code, also when coding you can learn a lot more about your car and what parameters do what, so I didn’t know there was different apps for different media players
