Select Control Module:
03-ABS Brakes
Select Long coding
Select “Byte 29” (Next to the last one on the right).

Default setting is "42" which is coding for e-Golf (4x) and ASR disable only (x2) via switch (a separate Mod) & infotainment (Car > Vehicle Settings > ESC System).



"Code = Default value / Short press / Press & hold for 3-5 secs

LEAVE BIT 6 SELECTED.




Bit 0 + Bit 6 = 41

- ESC & ASR ON / Blank / Blank [Not tested]

Bit 1 + Bit 6 = 42

- ESC & ASR ON / ASR OFF / Blank (Default)

Bit 0 + Bit 1 + Bit 6 = 43

- ESC & ASR ON / ESC SPORT / Blank [Not Tested]

Bit 2 + Bit 6 = 44

- ESC & ASR ON / ESC OFF / Blank [Not Tested]

Bit 0 + Bit 2 + Bit 6 = 45

- ESC & ASR ON / ASR OFF / ESC OFF [Not Tested]

Bit 1 + Bit 2 + Bit 6 = 46

Make your selection, press and hold the check mark in the lower right hand corner to commit the changes.

These changes take effect immediately after turning the car off and back on again, with no other actions needed.

What does Asr off actually do? I have a egolf and i want to do this

ASR = Anti-Slip Regulation - Vehicle uses anti-lock brake wheel sensors to determine is there is wheel slip (traction loss) detected on acceleration. Throttle is rolled off to prevent wheel spin, braking applied to spinning wheel if needed.

ESC = Electronic Stability Control - Vehicle incorporates yaw rate control into the anti-lock braking system (ABS). Anti-lock brakes enable ESC to slow down individual wheels to provide stability control at speed or in turns.

ASR Off keeps the vehicle "Nannies" from interfering with flatout acceleration - in SCCA Autocross or similar events where you want all of your power applied to the ground without interruption.
ESC Off  keeps the vehicle "Nannies" from interfering with flatout corning - in SCCA Autocross or similar events where you want all of your power applied to the ground without interruption while turning.
ESC Sport would be a good compromise for beginners as it DELAYS applying the ABS to correct Yaw.

Which one do i choose to get the same option as you? Asr off and esc off. 

I want to use app because i am not that good at coding..

We got some REALLY good rains over the past 3 days - I got to test the ASR Off and ESC Off
They were both AWESOME!

PSA: Do NOT turn ESC Off in the rain unless you are in a controlled area and 100% ready to deal with an uncharacteristically squirrelly e-Golf!!!

I think this is the reason my car stalls hard at 18 mph  after start up..
maybe i should do this..
