Hi all,
New to the forum and am awaiting delivery of my new OBDeleven tool however this morning i had to jump start my car (scirocco 2.0tsi) due to a dead battery. This resulted in the my dash light up like a christmas tree! I drove the car for about 100 yards and all lights went out except one. The airbag light. The airbag saw lower than correct voltage giving me an airbag error, however I have run the car 60 miles today and the battery is all good but have been told that I need to visit a stealership in order to remove this error even though i KNOW the battery is fine. PLEASE tell me theres a way to get rid of this error via OBDeleven? I have no doubt VW will charge me the hourly rate of over £100 for what would amount to under 5 minutes work....

Pretty sure it’ll just come up you have errors when you scan, then just press and hold and it’ll clear them all

Yeah normal obd readers normally only do a few ECU’s and that doesn’t normally include the airbag ecu’s, unless you have a workshop reader (I have a old workshop reader and new they were £2000 or so and then a update for vehicles was £1200 once your out of warranty, but that only comes out rarely, that’s the great thing about obdeleven, for less than £100 you can look into all the ECU’s in vag cars, and change stuff unlike the other workshop readers
on my car I have 27 ecu’s, I think normal readers only read engine
