E-Golf standard LED vs LED Plus headlights

Hi Guys,

This is my first post and i hope you can help me out with this (because the local dealer in town can't).
I want to go for a E-Golf 2020 model and there is an option i can choose (in the Netherlands) LED Plus headlights for almost 400 euros.
The only difference i see next to it is:
LED lighting (low beam and high beam)

LED daytime running lights

Static and dynamic cornering lighting

Dynamic light height control

This e-golf comes standard with LED headlights.
What i want to know, is there any visually difference between the 'standard LED' and the 'LED Plus' headlights?
Or are those headlights exactly the same with different coding only?
If the LED Plus headlight is a different unit, is it possible to get Dynamic Light Assist activated by coding only?

I read you're from the Netherlands, I am too and so I'm guessing you might've already bought the Golf because it's still a small 2 weeks where we can benefit the cheaper tax rules

I personally think the LED Plus is actually a different physicall led installation, but I can't be sure... I did a test drive in one of the e-Golf's and I think that one had the LED plus package. I eventually bought the golf without the LED plus package (except for 3d tail lights).

Yes, the one with LED plus package were more beautiful, but honestly without the package I have everything I need. In the corners a light turns on which lights the corner, I have beautiful LED headlights which almost look like the sun comes up at night...

No, I do not have automatic detection where it'll turn off the big lights when you have a oncomer coming but hey, I've never been used to that so I'm not missing it at all.

Hi Kees,

Indeed i ordered the e golf with the LED Plus option (and many more options hèhè). Its still not fully clear what the difference is, but we will see.

The local dealer told me the headlight is the same, except the corner lighting. And i spoke to one of the Volkswagen employees at Facebook messenger. She told me its a whole different headlight with the blinkers blinking sideways (like the 3d leds at the back).

Kinda strange they told me different stories isn't it?

It will be April when i can pick my car up so i have to wait a little while. Thnx for your info Kees!
