Can someone that has a 2006 Volkswagen GTI 6 speed manual transmission with heated seats please check on number 19 Gateway what the long coating number is. I'm having an issue with my Gateway it was accidentally changed by my friend and my car isn't reading a bunch of fault codes the main one I believe is CONTROL MODULE INCORRECTLY CODED! So I figured but maybe I'm wrong if someone could pull up their code that it would work cuz he didn't make it back up...

2006 Volkswagen GTI 6 speed manual transmission with heated seats The coding will still not be exactly the same in all cases and markets. Post a complete SCAN of your car as it is currently, so we can help you. You never need to touch Gateway #19 unless you are retrofitting something on the vehicle. |

I posted the scan to the thread that was new to forum...
Also I drove the car and it seems like once it hits like 3,000 RPM the EPC light comes on... Before I did this coating this never had an issue... I learned by my mistake can never touch again but my car worked fine and I don't know what to do... I thank you guys for all your help I just stinks because I spent $3,800 on this car

I've got an volkswagen golf mk5, and i can not activate the needle sweep and the aucustic information from the horn when locking and unlocking, could you guys help me?
is there any long coding list like the mk6 and mk7 on the forum. the mk6 and mk7 have a big list of codes. is there any list liked that for GOLF MK5??

I've got an volkswagen golf mk5, and i can not activate the needle sweep Needle sweep is NOT available for the MK5 cluster. Only the MK6 Gold and newer have clusters that support needle-sweep. Hi guyz.
I have issues on my vw mk5 Gateway error, all electronics in the care are not working, i have replaced the BCM, can someone help with guidelines for cording.

Please tell me you saved a scan of your car BEFORE making any changes or replacing any modules. If so, please post it here.
If you had a "gateway" error, why did you replace the BCM? I've had two cases where temporarily swapping to a different gateway module, then reinstalling the original did the trick.
