I have the DQ200 gearbox and it's mentioned in the info page that my software version is 5220 and newer version 5292 is available Anyone knows what does this mean? I asked official dealer and they told me there is no update avaipable!  |

hmm...... OBD11 checks the installed module software version against the manufacturer's latest release and informs the user if an update is available.
met911 : If your "official dealer" told you that there is "no update available", then you can choose to believe him, or you can seek a better dealer !!! If you have a DQ200 gearbox module with firmware version 5220, then the available fimware versions are (see HERE): 5230_OJFY_sw 5203_OgFY_sw 5222_OrFY_sw 5232_OrFY_sw 5202_RJFY_sw 5201_OJFY_sw 5262_OrFY_sw 5231_OgFY_sw 5260_OJFY_sw 5220_OJFY_sw 5204_OrFY_sw 5261_OgFY_sw 5205_RJFY_sw 5221_OgFY_sw
This list was accurate as of November last year - so I'm guessing that more updates are available now
virtub85 : OBD11 can't be used to upgrade module firmware - you will need another tool for this purpose and you will need to buy the new firmware (usually from a dealer)
