Friends, I'm going to put "logo lights" on the doors to light up when the door is opened. Would you like to get the correct coding and which pin to install on the door module?

Does anyone have coding via Obdeleven? I don't have VCDS. I installed the lights but they don't work.

^^^eli: Hi- it's done like this: - Select the Door electronics driver side module @ address hex42
- Select Coding
- if you see a screen with a bunch of numbers across the top and tick boxes down the screen, press the 0/1 button at the top RHS
- You should see a screen with a bunch of descriptors like my picture below (note: my screenshot is from the old OBD11 software, but the current software shows the same entries)
- Select door_exit_light (this is Byte 1, Bit 2) and set to active
- Repeat above procedure with the Passenger side door module @ address hex52

Hello, DV52. Thanks. I made these settings but it didn't light up. Do you know which pins connect the positive and negative of the light?

^^^ if your light is LED type - I assume that you have the correct polarity for the LED connected to the door module. According to the information in my database the "supply" side of the Exit/Warning Light is on pin #16 on the S004 connector (see housing picture for the module below) - I think. The other side of the light is earthed - I think
If your door module doesn't have the 004 connector, the Exit/warning Light is on pin #12 on the S003 connector - I think!

How does this work on the new Android App - where do I search HEX42 in OBD11 app?

Stephan: HEX42 means 42 in the Hexadecimal numbering system (search Google for the meaning of "Hexadecimal"). It is the CAN network address of the driver door module and HEX52 is the address of the passenger module. You can access these modules in the Android App from the Control Units screen.
This is how you access the Control Units screen with the OBD11 Android App:
Notice on the left-side of my lower picture that each module has a number in a colored circle. This number is the CAN network address of the module - the number "42" will appear in the driver door module. Click on this module (on the left-side of the lower screen) to access the HEX42 module
