I have a Japanese import Sport wagon TFSI bought here in NZ. Engine BWA. Actually built VW pueblo Mexico. I know she has been around.
Can someone explain why I am only seeing live data as channels? I have a pro obdeleven.
I have attached a YouTube clip showing a search option used to read misfires.
Is my car too old for this level of monitoring.
Regards from shaky NZ!

It wouldn't be your car that is old. The ECU part number might not match any of the existing "label" files (as how it would be setup in VCDS), so OBDeleven just shows you the generic live data as channels. There are several variations /revisions of modules for a specific car, so it won't be easy for the OBDeleven team to be able to make a note of them all. I didn't even know that your variation of car exists until you posted it. You will notice that everything from MK6 and newer is fully supported as VW started standardising the modules for the cars released in the various markets.
I drive a 2008 2-door RHD MK5 Golf GTI (Autobahn package) with the same 2.0TFSI BWA engine, but my control modules are have limited support as well since it didn't exist in the US market although the car was built in Wolfsburg.
Post your complete SCAN so that we can see what modules you are working with.
