Hi I have the same problem with my 2017 A4. I have first tried to activate Lane Assist through the 2 step in Apps and then getting faults for Lane assist and pre sence. Then I tried to undo the settings in apps but getting faults when trying. After that I tried manual coding and still got the same faults. Then i tried to inaktivate the settings trough the 2 steps Apps and I am now back to default settings. I have lost my points by using the Apps but I have no faults and not Active Line Assist. When I tried to do this I hade the bonnet open and I’ve reset the mmi after programming. I noticed that the EFP was not active after doing the apps coding and I couldn’t activate it first but when did it by longcoding it changed. Next step would be to try doing it manual again and see I will work. Similarly when coding EFP, I noticed it wouldn't take. Despite a positive green message that coding has been accepted, EFP remains uncoded. Ultimately, I had to revert all changes because of this. Is there something I'm missing?

Morning all!
I've got another questions. I've installed app for Activ Lane Assist without on/off button. Everything works well, Lane Assist starting work since about 65km/h. Is it possibile to change a speed when this option is turning on?

Hi guys, new the the forum.
I have a 2020 S4 Avant, which I believe has the pre-sense (logo comes up at top of dash when I start the car) so would this coding work for my vehicle?
Happy enough using the OBD, coded wireless carplay via this forum also.
Any advise or help would be great.
Thanks

Ok got it working on my audi a4 b9 2016. The one thing that didnt worked during the longcoding on obdeleven was that the “EFP” wouldt go from not coded to coded. But here is the trick! Go to the longcoding in hex in the A5 modul and then select byte 12 and bit3 (EFP) you can thick it and after that EFP is active!
After that the lane assist is working and i got zero faults during the process.

Does anyone know what exactly changes in the background, in the long coding, when we use OBD Apps(step 1 and step 2 )? From which byte-bit value goes to which? I need to revert it back so I can clear all warnings and errors that I got during unsuccessful coding through apps.

Have finally coded ALA. 2016 A4 B9. I cannot speak for others, but I also had two faults (Lane Assist & Pre Sense) when following the suggested coding, with ALA shown as "currently unavailable" within the MMI.
I worked through the steps, and skipped coding the 09 Central Electrics, which was the point that always returned the errors. Everything looks and works fine without coding "Heading Control" within Central Electrics - I can change the available settings within the MMI. Tried the car on a highway: ALA shows in the VC, the small ALA display lights up within the gauge cluster (orange unavailable or green available) when lines are present, car stays within the lane.
Again, I cannot say this is the right coding, but skipping Heading Control under Central Electrics has cleared the faults, and the system appears to work well.

Went fine, A4 2022. The only thing was going wrong was an error message regarding "Side Assist" as my vehicle didn't have blind spot warning, excluding this and all went fine. (Lane change Assistant coding in 17 - Dash Board) My question is, how to activate the "Steering Correction" in the MMI? not my coding but i did think it would be nice to share link to original post below Here is the coding and adaptations that I used to activate Audi Active Lane Assist, I am not making any promises or assuming responsibility, code at your own risk, But it worked perfectly for me. I do get a few faults but I think it is due to me trying to activate Traffic Sign Recognition. UPDATE: Unchecking the option for STA in A5 coding (Byte 16->Bit 5) and you will no longer get the congestion assist fault code. You will get a few bings from your car about Pre Sense Malfunction, these will all go away once you are done. This will activate the self steering, steering wheel vibration, and lane crossing warning. Do all the coding then do adaptations. If using OBDEleven use all the directions only on the left half of the "|" symbol, if using VCDS use all the directions on the right side of the "|". Hey, we just bought an Audi 2018 q5 quattro Premium Plus, it appears to have a camera in the rear view, unless it could be a dummy slot, and I would really like to activate the lane assist. The problem is I'm not sure i feal comfortable doing it myself unless there is a full video walkthrough somewhere showing the steps. I'm tech savvy but I haven't messed with an OBDEleven or anything similar, and just want to feel comfortable that I am doing it correctly. Any advice or tips?

Question for you guys, I have a 19 s4 that I just picked up, I followed the long coding method and was given the lane assist malfunction indication, then tried the apps steps one and it says not available, my car has windshield camera, parking assist, blind spot monitoring, the 2 black spheres in the bumper corners, does it not have everything required to make ALA work? And if so what am I doing wrong?

you cannot disable. only able change from early to late you have to code again to fully disable - Modulo A5 - Inserisci 20103 nel codice di sicurezza - Inserisci adattamento - Cerca: stato attivazione assistenza cambio corsia e seleziona OFF
