Golf MK5 brake pad warning sensor/light

Hi all,

I am new to using OBDeleven and this forum so please go easy on me.

I have a golf MK5 1.6 fsi 07 model which has a problem with brake pad warning light on my dashboard.

I have not only recently replaced the brake pads but also the discs too so in guessing the problem is with the wiring.

I have bought the OBDeleven device to turn off the warning that I see constantly on my dashboard till I get this sorted out.

Can someone please explain where I can turn this off on my OBDeleven app.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

P.s I do not have the OBDeleven pro version but willing to get it if this is a requirement.

Hi, i'm looking for help with the same problem. Is there an app that ca do this for us? Already changed may pads to new TRW ones, and the sensor keeps blinking.. Thank you!

LE: after checking the sensor, found that one of the cables of broken. I've put them together, to disable it, and found out after the last scan that the APP was there

I used the app but it did not work for me. Wasted 10 credits 😠
