Adaptations 8125 Function_configuration_audio Channel 4 TT activate Channel 1 TT activate HT is high tone and should be Inactive on CH 1 and 4. Do you know why HT should be disabled? Is it acting as a cross over and with ht off it cuts out high frequencies because the two rear speakers are just woofers?

If you install two speakers, one in each door, enable channel 1 tt and channel 4 tt, ht should be off for those then set signal toplogy to 25 and long press on/off radio button until it resets

I'm 95% sure you don't. I've run so many tests and having ht enabled doesn't seem to do anything.
My rear speakers are the 2way focals which replace the oem full range.
I've listened to the same dynamic range track with ht on and off for channels 1 and 4 and didn't notice a difference.
With ht off i also played test tones and was able to hear up to and including 15khz. Which is impressive for myself as a 42 year old.
I've also recorded the output to my laptop from my loc to see if it the levels are being lowered on the high end. Nothing that I can see.
I'm going to do one more test using a better quality recorder just one last time.

I programmed TT on channel 1&4 without installing speakers and get parksensor error . So reverse programming all is fine again.
Why i did. Want to see if i can focus sound to back seats but this is not working
How to get balance and focus working ?

So with the coding that you describe the fader works correctly suddenly? The topology of signals at 25 this rule in channel 1 and 4?. If by chance you have some screenshots that would be great!

I succeeded with the following configuration, everything works perfectly ! Control unit:8125 Adaptations Function_configuration_audio Canal 4 TT activer Canal 1 TT activer HT must be disabled Canal 4 & 1 set signal topology from 15 to 25 More: Cover open during coding. After coding, long press the on/off radio button until it resets.

But in the case where the HP installed are 2-way coaxial HP, shouldn't we activate HT precisely on channel 1 & 4? I have a Focal installation on the back of the VW 165 IC reference.

Just do it like it was already written
I have also focal 2 way speaker and they worked fine
So only TT is needed
There is no more cable space at amplifier So only space for 4 kabel (2 speaker)

I had the same line of thinking as you however the original rear speakers are full range not woofers. I set channel 1 to have HT and TT on and channel 4 to only TT on. I think ran an audio test that send short tones from 20hz to 15khz in various steps. The output was identical. I really have no idea what the HT on setting does but it's not needed on the rear.

Thank you for this comparator, now we can be sure that HT is not useful. Thanks for your help.

It would be necessary to ask the technical service of Volkswagen directly. but I'm not sure who knows the answer, and especially that they give us the information

Like i said before the topology to 25. Ch 1 TT on. Ch4 TT on.
But you need to unlock SFD first with Odis at a dealer. and when coding the hood needs to be Open.
I did the coding again yesterday so i know it works.

Hello rillesvanberg . We ever said it doesn't work? SFD Unlock works great with Obdeleven as well. We just say that HT activate or not activate it does not change the quality of the sound in the car. For the signal flow topology, why are you changing from 15 to 25? Besides, what does the topology of the signal flow correspond to? Thank you in advance for your help.

Finding out what the HT does from Volkswagen would require so much effort and contacting people. There's a couple of wiring things that play into this that I don't understand. - With the Harman Kardon system 1. The front tweeters are directly wired to the amp 2. The front woofers have 4 wires going to them - why? 3. The rear woofers have 2 wires going to them 4. The rear tweeters are spliced in the rear woofer wires - Crossover is in speakers *CORRECTION - "RF Tweeter" should be "RL tweeter" Since both the rear tweeters and rear woofers are fed from the same wires and the crossovers are built into the speakers, the rear would need the full signal range in the Harman Kardon. I've followed the recipe from rillesvanberg and id.3 and managed to get fading setting and rear speakers to work. However I get error message on park sensors. Does anyone know why this happens? Any idea how to fix this issue?

Just a coincidence maybe? Depending on what you describe, I hope that by mounting the rear speakers you have not damaged other cables nearby. If this is really the case, I advise you to check the cables and connections again, hoping that you have not already reassembled the plastics.
Alternatively, you may have disconnected the sensor in question unintentionally and in this case you may be able to reset the fault. Obdeleven is normally able to reset the faults of the car.
If after the reset the fault returns, unfortunately you have damaged a cable. or that the sensor has become faulty in the meantime?
Good luck.
