Golf MK7 Facelift Coding and Adaptions

I think the MMI has been descussed before and it didn’t work on the 7.5, I know it works on the AID as I played with it the other month but I seem to recall it only seems to change from 5 door to 3 door to estate, can’t remember what I changed but I think it was in long coding in the dash module under something like vehicle variant

I tried to change Dinamishe options from 10 ms to 20 ms, but I did not see any effects, maybe I need to increase more, for example 1000 ms. Now I'm in work, I'm coming back home in a month, maybe by then someone will find this setting.

Record your turn signals in a slow motiont and see how it looks, I hope that I did not foresee it.

under which light do I find the turn signal LED, so that I can code the time of the drive?

It seems to that so far no one has found the appropriate letuche for front LED lamps. But you can try to look for answers from Don (dv52) this one has a lot of knowledge about it.

Hi all, just wondering if the 5x brake light can be done on the new 7.5R?

I tried the code for the mk7 but it never worked.

Anyone does this on the 7.5 and can tell me how it’s done? I’ve seen on another forum it can be done but they also had Scandinavia DRLs, ideals I just want the 5x brake light without the DRLs?

Hey guys, just wondering if there was a way to enable FOG LIGHTS with BLINKER. I've tried MK7 codes but to no avail, and one of the sets of the codes kept the fogs on the whole time. NA MK.7.5 GTi.

This worked for me, thank you. Also was able to activate the locking diff (I believe) for my GTI S in that menu.

So finally got a car with adjustable independent footwell and door strip 09 central electronics admap, I have found a difference but 1) it won’t let me change it (comes up “something went wrong”) and 2) it’s in binary (e.g 00111100) whereas it will only let you change from 0-255, bugger

My car is a UK 7.5R which inititially had the seperate adjustability options for the door strip lights and the footwell lights as standard.

Late last week I noticed in obdeleven that there is now an App for "Ambient Colours" and a choice of 10 or 30 colour options. I applied the 30 colour option and it all worked okay, found it a bit gimmicky and set is back to "Off" - then discovered now lost my seperate settings for footwell and door strips!!

Went through the adaptions to try and reset them and get the error like vwjap refers to.

I've also noticed the "Ambient Colors" App on obdeleven has vanished as quickly as it came?

Pretty annoyed as now i have lost standard functionality that I liked to use. I prefer door strips fully on and footwell lights at 50%, so the single slider I currently have is annoying.

Hi, I would have a question for you, as you know by enabling the soft lighting menu with its colors you can not manage separately footwell lights and door lights, say that it is not possible to restore it to how it was before the activation of the colors while keeping the change?

I think I've fixed it. The adaptions that didn't take previously now suddenly seem to have?

I have got rid of the Background lighting menu and now have the individual sliders back under the Light menu.

Although I seem to have now gained a "Front background lighting" option?

These are my current adaption settings:

Adds the “background lighting” buttons in settings and if set to not active then it puts the sliders under “lights”
But there’s a few things under Interior light, light configuration that bring up other sliders, and I know I went through all of them, and got other lighting sliders like the ones your talking about, I have got a original backup if you want me to post it up, it only has sliders for door and footwell if I remember right

I have two differences in Interior light, light configurations:

I will change these and see, I'm happy for now as I have the sliders back for the door strips and footwell lights seperately. Just have an extra slider that does nothing, no big deal.

I will also check all the Interior light, 2nd generation when next in the car.

I was able to enable windows down and sunroof tilt with the key fob, but can’t for the life of me figure out how to switch the sunroof from tilt to open.

Is this possible with the 7.5?

Central Electrics > Schiebedach > SAD Richtung Komfortöffnen, let's you choose between tilting or sliding I believe

I have a 2018 R (North American) and installed the ambient light change app the other day. The dash and MIB change to whatever color I select but LEDs (door panels, etc) remain blue. Is there a way to change all of them to be the same color?

I don't think there is unfortunately. It's a bit messy with blue door strips and white footwell lights + the colour on dash!!
I put my dash and MIB back to standard because of that.

Darn- appreciate the response. I “installed” the 30 color option. The white and grey dash colors don’t look too bad but really wanted to change everything to red if possible. Thank you again

Awesome man, thank you that did the trick. It does take significantly longer to open than tilt though... might end up killing the fob battery if used often.

You're welcome and you're right, it is slow.

I ended up deactivating it entirely. I figure the amount of heat it let's out compared to just the windows being open is probably negligible, especially if the sun screen is closed. Closing the sunroof still works via remote.

I have a stock R dashboard and it is well for me but I want to add ONLY this( I not want change colours) only background looks carbon. See picture. I my is car is black colour

Probably a dozen or so posts before everything is described, after adding dots (scren percepction? Dont remember), the color will change to a gold so you must also activate 10 or 30 colors (app) to set your favorite and choose screen (tube version - last option)
