No, I haven't made a video of it. But it really works and looks like normal turn signal, the whole strip just lights up at once. Just give it a go, you can always undo everything if something goes wrong.

Hi I need some help. I got the taillights with the sweeping/dynamic indicators and was wondering if the sweeping can be changed via coding to a standard blinking style indicator? why would you want that? me personally I like to have had that built in my car, hence I bought aftermarket sweeping mirror lights and then programmed the taillight with the Urban Joke app. I guess to each his own.

I didn't by aftermarket ones I have OEM already installed from factory. I just want to see the difference in looks with and without sweeping indicators. You bought aftermarket sweeping ones but do they sweep?
Your answered your own question, to each his own!

Hello any help is much appreciated. My question is how can I activate video in motion through coding instead of wasting credits.

1. You can play videos while stationary yes? 2. No, as it’s a mod that changes not in the adaptions/coding that OBDeleven has access to 3. There are other ways to enable VIM

I can play videos while stationary So you saying OBDeleven does not have access for the coding so I can only spend credits to do it. What other ways can I activate it

Using another Tool like VCP - which also costs money.
VIM is restricted by Parameter-Sets which are "one way" data send to the control unit, therefore you cannot edit them as Coding/Adaptions

You can do it via sd card too

Hi guys, on my Golf Sportsvan 2017, I installed the RLHS sensor and the light switch with AUTO position, and after carrying out the coding (06A8DD), the rain sensor works correctly, while when I turn the selector to AUTO, the dipped headlights come on (even with the sun) and the switch error appears (I attached the screenshot), am I missing some steps in the configuration? Another question, after solving the previous point, how do I activate the automatic coming home and leaving home? Can you tell me the steps? Thanks in advance, Vins,

hmm........ try this: central electrics module - adaptation - Außenlicht_uebergreifend - LDS_mit_AFL > yes
I assume that your RLHS was OEM - if so, see my instructions for CH/LH HERE

With your indication, the headlight switch error is resolved, and the headlights are now working properly! You are great !! While for the LH and CH, the sensor is the one in the attached image, and it was purchased on Aliexpress. I followed everything indicated in your post. On the MIB screen, the settings for the time for coming home and leaving are now displayed. I also tried setting both the Low Beam and Fog Light lights, but it doesn't work. Are there no other signals / settings to enable or change? Do you need screenshots or other car informations? Thanks again, Vins

Vins: try this:- For both Leuchte6ABL LC5 (left-side low-beam lamp) and Leuchte7ABL RB1 (right-side Low-beam lamp) - Only if Lichtfunktion C is currently set to nicht aktiv - change to Coming Home oder Leaving Home aktiv
- Only if Dimmwert CD is currently set to 0 - change to:-
- 100 if the headlights use incandescent lamps
- 127 if the headlights use HID lamps

I followed what you indicated, but unfortunately both CH and LH do not work. Hope you can come up with other ideas .... thanks a lot Don,

Vins: check the adaptation channels again - make sure your settings are like this:
Außenlicht_uebergreifend - Coming Home Leuchten > Low beam
- Coming Home Verbaustatus > automatic
- Leaving-Home Verbausstatus > Enabled
- Coming-home Einschaltereignis > Driver door
- Menueeinstellung CHO LHO > Menuesteuerung aktivieren
- Menueeinstellung Cominghome > ?? seconds
- Menueeinstellung Leaving-home Zeit per BAP > ?? seconds
- Menuesteuerung Coming Home Werkseinstellung > active
- Menuesteuerung Leaving-home Freischaltung per BAP > active
The other requirement for CH/LH is for the rotary light switch to be on the AUTO position

Hi Don, I checked all the settings you indicated to me (I am attaching the screenshots of Außenlicht_uebergreifend), the only one that was missing was this: Menueeinstellung CHO LHO > Menuesteuerung aktivieren In the post you indicated there was no this setting, however, both CH and LH still do not work 😩

An update, after trying to vary the values of the following parameters (found on other forums): - Helligkeitsschwelle Infrarot-Messung 12 lx (0 lx)
- Helligkeitsschwelle Forward-Messung 46400 lx (0 lx)
Now CH and LH work! I thank you anyway for your availability! Vins,

@ar1007: Look through Leuchte16BLK..... (left-side inner turn-signal lamp) for the Leuchte-command Blinken links Hellphase and change to Blinken links Dunkelphase
Then, look through Leuchte17TFL...... (right-side turn signal lamp) for the Leuchte-command Blinken rechts Hellphase and change to Blinken rechts Dunkelphase

Hi guys, has anybody else the problem when trying to activate the road traffic sign recognition that the Golf 7.5 GTI says something like „not responding. Try again?“ I can access every other control unit except 5f. I have bought the pro package, tried using android and iOS, activated road sign recognition in A5 and 17 but 5f stays not reachable. It is also the only control unit without a red or green dot around the number.
Thanks in advance

whitegti : hm.......... odd!!! Is the MIB (hex5F module) in your car the original factory fitted unit? Or asked another way, it is a VW module that has it been retrofitted and was it hacked to avoid Component Protection errors?, or is it a non-OEM brand? Don

Hi, thanks for your quick response. What's the easiest way to find out if it is the oem MIB? Is the obd11 able to give me(you) this information? I am the second owner of the GTI, the previous owner has installed an Alpine X902D Radio with other Speakers, Amplifier and Subwoofer. I can use Android Auto, CarPlay and see the Cars-Details like next Service, Assistance Systems on it but couldn't find any infos about the MIB-Version of it. I try to get the invoice from the previous owner of what exactly was modified as the Alpine was installed, maybe that helps a bit more.
Initially the previous owner had the cheapest option available on the GTI installed, i think it was the composition Media. He then switched to the Alpine, but on the invoice i can't see any changeposition on the MIB.

The alpine is not recognised by obdeleven as it’s not OG equipment, so any mods that need the 5f module will never work, as it’s “set in stone” in the alpine, it also will not talk to the car properly, and is NOT a MIB just a radio/nav/whatever that can read some canbus info on the comfort bus of the car

whitegti : as my colleague advises, the Alpine unit doesn't actually participate as a full member of the CAN bus in the same way as a true OEM MIB. Instead, the Alpine unit "mimics" certain features of the OEM module - so it fools the other OEM modules into communicating CAN messages to/from the non-OEM device. Bottom line = as a stand-alone module, the Alpine unit will work OK - but when hooked-up to a diagnostic device like OBD11, it doesn't talk correctly. Hence your observations!! Don

Thanks to you both. Little bummer that after market stuff is that restricted. But funny to say. I tried the manual for enabling it without accessing the 5f and it worked. Signs are getting properly recognized in my MFA Display. Happy about that

Hi there, I have retrofitted the RLHS. Everything is working, just the coming home isn't working. Then I have another issue. If I'm speeding over the 140km/h the lights turn on. I have tried to activate the menu in obdeleven with no luck. any suggestion? thanks

sofro1988 : For a mk7.5 use Außenlicht_uebergreifend instead of Comfort Illumination in the picture below, check the following:- For the lights-ON at high speed go to central electrics module and change the following: - RLS_lights_for_autobahn-p_v_autobahn_on

thanks. for the homecoming I have to check if driver door is selected, because I have already configured the other parameters (I made it automatic instead of manual). RLS_lights_for_autobahn-p_v_autobahn_on should be already activated, don't it? in this case I have to deactivated, don't I? other question: I retrofitted power folding mirrors as well. I have changed the door driver module (593 instead of 393) and everything is working fine. my only concern is that the driver side mirror, when. I close the car, it folds in 2 times, while the passenger one does in one shot. any advise? thanks

I understand from your words that CH doesn't work - does Leaving Home work? Question 1: answer - yes, or increase the speed Question 2: answer - post-up the long-code strings on both the passenger and driver door modules
