dv52 (Australia) I have resolved all the issues related to the light sensor. I have forgotten to change the Long coding on the RHLS subsystem to 00 a8 dd. Now everything is working well. The only issue left is about mirrors folding. If I close the mirrors from the joystick on the driver door, everything goes right. if I close the mirrors with key fob, the driver mirror stop at half way for half second, the it continues folding till the end. Any suggestion? Thanks

Not sure what's happened with the long-code strings on your door modules. I would expect the values to be different between the 2 x modules because stuff like mirror-dip on reverse only happens on the passenger mirror - but there are many other differences that simply don't make sense on your screenshots For example: I notice the setting "lock without safelock motors" on your screen-shots. It's set to "not active" on your driver mirror, but it's set to "active" on the passenger-side (SAFELOCK is a type of deadlock facility on the doors - not all cars have this function.) Also, I note the setting "lock unlock switch" on your screen shots. This is set to "active" on the driver side and it's set to "not active" on the passenger side. Clearly your car does have this switch, but the settings are not consistent. If these problems arose when you installed the new RLHS - why are these values so different (the door modules don't have anything to do with the RLHS module)? I suggest that you make a detailed comparison of the screenshots that you posted - look for more examples where the setting values are different and make a judgement call as to which is correct. If you don't know which value to use - look at the sticker that contains the factory "PR" codes (PRoduction codes) for your car - see below. Then use the decoding sheet HERE to find-out what options were built into your car.
The other way to do this is to search through OBD11 History for the earliest change record that you made to the door module long codes. Then revert the complete long-code string back to "old value".

Thank you very much for your help. I also fixed the issue related to the driver’s mirror. Now when I close the mirrors with fob key, they close in one shot. The problem was the Lock without safe motor not active on the module I have installed to retrofit the mirrors. As you said in the passenger module it was activated, so after activated it on the driver module, everything works well. Thank you to let me check that setting, I didn’t notice it 😁

Hello,
I have a Golf MK7 FL with AID. I managed to make all codding for 10 color in background lighting and everything looks ok(i have dimm for footwell and dor lights and color change option) but when i select another color it does actually nothing. Not on MIB an not on AID. Anyone encountered this behavior ? Also, is the color change somehow linked to the tube version for AID?
Thank you!

2017 It seems its a color coddin issue. I’ve changed the first color and now it works, but only shows red yellow and green. No blue and i have codded the blue color as well ( 0 120 255 and 0 0 255)

Thank you for your time… it seems it worked after all .. but it took more than 30 mins for the color to change…
I have another issue… not sure if you may help me with this one… i have changed several times vehicle body and tube version in order to debug the ambient litght issue and now, i’m missing the option to display current speed in active info display on AID. I have just a few options there ( oil temp, vol to replenish… ) but not the speed like i used to have. Do you know what do i need to change to put it back?
Thanks!

Are you talking inside the dials or in between the dials?

What’s that under in central electronics?

Activating “ favorites button for multi-function display” fixed the issue with digital speed and other options missing.

Just finished reading all 29 pages and did a handful of changes that all work great! I am having one problem though. I recently lowered my 2019 GTI Autobahn with EMD springs and everyone recommends doing a DCC calibration after lowering to prevent the bottoming out feeling over small bumps (which I definitely experience). The directions say to go to module "14 Dynamic Chassis Control" however in my OBDEleven module list it doesn't exist.
Does anyone know how to do a DCC calibration in a 2019 GTI Autobahn?

You have got DCC right? If so do a rescan of the module list, see it it turns up, or try android

Yes, I 100% have DCC. I've tried probably 20 different times to get it to load including rescanning the list, refreshing after it's loaded, checking the gateway settings, searching the modules list for it, and whatever other little things I found online. None of them led to me having a DCC module 😂
And I am on Android, I've actually tried two different devices.

Really silly question, you checked for the module number (14) as sometimes their called something else (adaptive suspension in this case)

Yep, I've checked for the number as well as the name. The only thins in the whole system I can find that pertains to DCC are two modules named "Chassis Control", one with the number 34 and the other 74. If I add either to the list it shows up with a black circle and if I open the module it says "Control Unit Not Responding".

Strange, as modules you don’t have normally show up on the module list, although I’d have to go check they haven’t changed it, So no idea why you haven’t got it in yours or the master module list 🤷♂️
You tried opening bonnet before doing a scan? (It probably isn’t that but maybe worth a try)

mrmonowheel : Maybe add a copy of your scan report (as an attachment) to a post - see instructions below I've seen modules like Ride Control System @ address hex34 and Chassis Control @ address hex74 on some scans. Try doing the basic setting procedure (with wheels hanging & car lifted) on the hex74 module

mrmonowheel : Please don't take offense (because none is intended) - but if I was relying solely on your scan report, I would guess that this car doesn't have DCC fitted!! Incidentally, the 2 x "Undefined control module No communication" errors on the hex19 module on your scan report are probably because you have added the hex34 and hex74 modules to the Installation list - and these modules don't exist on your car! I suggest that you remove these modules! so- how to proceed? Hmm...... I guess that it is possible that OBD11 is the culprit and for some reason, it's not reporting the J250 module (i.e. the module that normally lives @ address hex14 for MQB cars that are equipped with DCC)!!
I note that the hex14 module isn't included in the list of installed modules on your Golfmk7.com post. Maybe try ticking the hex14 address on the Installation list - If this results in "Undefined control module - No communication error" on the Gateway module, remove this tick. I also suggest that you look at the factory luggage label on the car which should look like this: The VAG PR codes are as follows: - 2H4 CHA Driving Profile Selection and hydraulic damper control
- 2H5 CHA Driving Profile Selection and conventional shock absorber
Which of these codes appear on your sticker?

I completely agree, from the OBD report it appears my car doesn't have DCC, but I can promise it does! Aside from the struts having the DCC wire connections going into them and the menu having the DCC options, I can feel a stark difference between each mode. Here is the sticker, I dont see any 2H4 or 2H5 entries on it. And here is the dealer's document that came with my car listing all the features and options. As you can see, it lists DCC as an installed option and I am pretty sure you couldn't get a 2019 autobahn without DCC even if you tried :
